gres art 671 presents Museum Dreams, the first major retrospective in Italy dedicated to British artist Isaac Julien (London, 1960), one of the most influential figures in contemporary moving-image art. Conceived by gres art 671 and curated by Nathan Ladd, the exhibitionbrings together five major installations created between 1999 and 2022. Through a language that intertwines cinema, dance, photography, music and sculpture, Julien constructs layered narratives exploring memory, desire and museum institutions. The works interact with architecture, turning the museum into an active part of the experience, where visitors will move through immersive installations, sculptures, photographs and archival materials.
Guided tour by Francesca Acquati, general manager
