On the occasion of the exhibition dedicated to the work of Lella and Massimo Vignelli, Triennale Milano and MillerKnoll – main partner of the exhibition – present a roundtable discussion exploring their legacy and the lasting influence of their work on the international landscape of contemporary design and architecture.
Among the leading figures of twentieth-century design, the Vignellis played a decisive role in transforming visual communication and design culture. The exhibition at Triennale retraces their intellectual and personal journey between Milan - shaped by the cultural ferment of the postwar years - and New York, a cosmopolitan metropolis and a laboratory of possibilities.
Starting from these themes, the discussion brings together leading figures from contemporary design and architecture to reflect on the relevance of the Vignellis’ design thinking today, bringing different perspectives and experiences into dialogue.
Speakers: Marco Sammicheli, David Saik, Amy Auscherman, Francesca Picchi, Terry Dwan
